I am thankful for many of my teachers in my life and especially my ninth grade art teacher who saw some potential for creating art in the work that I did in her class. I always had that in my mind as I pursued my career with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. After retiring from ODNR I was then free to pursue my desire of creating art. I have taken art lessons in watercolor from two instructors, general painting lessons from local artist Jim Glover, and on-line instruction from Canadian artist Johannes Vloothuis.
